Pictureworld is the comprehensive photo database of Deutsche Telekom. It lives from a clear visual language full of authenticity which is developed by Deutsche Telekom and Astrid in cooperation for some time. Her honest photos emerge from real situations in which normal people act naturally. Astrid is allowed to take influence on location, models and mood on the set . That is the way how she can create a picture relatively autonomously. The casting takes place continuously, moving away from clichés and towards an interesting cross-section of human types.

During the shooting she encourages the models to use their own creativity and imagination. She invites them into a fantasy world where she tells her stories. The result is a great dynamic and photos full of character. Instead of staging authenticity, she just lets it happen. This enables her to create images that work independently of their time of origin.
